1. Scope

These terms govern the purchase of RAÍZ ISLAS services: creation of websites, product stories and QR codes, with monthly hosting and maintenance.

The services are aimed at artisans, merchants and professionals, including people preparing to launch their activity.

Contracting is not completed automatically through this website: it is formalised by a proposal that you accept in writing (for example, by email). Payment is made by bank transfer; this website does not charge any amount.

3. Services and prices

RAÍZ ISLAS offers three services. The launch prices, in euros, are:

• The Showcase: estimated creation time of 5 to 7 business days.
• The Story: estimated creation time of 8 to 12 business days.
• The Shop: estimated creation time of 12 to 18 business days.

Each service has a creation price and a monthly fee. These are two separate things. Times are estimates (see “Deadlines and final approval”).

4. Free demo

Before hiring, you can request a free demo of your website.

• It is always prepared on The Showcase, regardless of the plan you intend to hire.
• It includes the business name, a personalised Hero, a short introduction of the business, up to five sample products or works (where applicable) and a preview for desktop and mobile.
• An initial proposal is prepared and obvious errors are corrected. The scope of the demo is not extended without a specific agreement.
• It does not imply final publication, delivery of a full online shop, domain reservation, automatic hiring or any obligation to buy.
• It is free of charge.

5. How to hire and pay

For now, hiring and payment are not available online. Once you accept the demo and formalise the agreement, the planned process is as follows:

• You choose the plan.
• You receive a proposal with the scope and conditions of the service.
• You pay 50% of the creation price when you hire.
• RAÍZ ISLAS builds the final version.
• You review the result.
• You pay the remaining 50% after the final review and before publication.

The initial payment method is bank transfer. Bank details will only be provided once verified and are not published on this website.

Development does not imply automatic publication of the site.

These terms do not declare the first payment automatically non-refundable (see “Withdrawal, cancellations and refunds”).

6. Deadlines and final approval

Creation times are estimates. They start to count once the first payment and all the necessary information and materials have been received.

• If you do not provide the materials or do not answer a necessary request, we will send a reminder after 7 days. The deadline is suspended while we wait.
• After 30 days without a reply, and after notifying you, the project may be temporarily suspended. It will resume subject to availability, with no automatic reactivation fee.
• For final approval you have 7 business days to review the preview. If you do not reply, we will send a reminder.
• Silence does not mean acceptance. Publication requires your express approval and payment of the outstanding 50%.

7. Taxes and invoicing

Prices are stated in euros. The applicable tax treatment (indirect taxes such as IGIC or VAT, as appropriate) will be stated expressly in the proposal and on the invoice before you accept the service.

To issue the invoice we will need your tax details (name or company name, tax ID and address).

8. Monthly fee, maintenance and support

The monthly fee starts on the day the final site is published and operational. No monthly fee is charged for the earlier development period.

Renewal takes place on the same day of each month. When that day does not exist, the last day of the month concerned is used.

All three monthly fees include:

• Site hosting.
• Reasonable technical maintenance.
• Support.
• Simple content changes, depending on the plan: The Showcase, one per month; The Story, two per month; The Shop, three per month.

Unused changes do not carry over. A simple change is a change to existing content, such as texts, photographs, contact information or prices. New features, additional pages, integrations and work not included are quoted separately.

Support hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 (Canary Islands time). The first-response target is 48 business hours; it is not a commitment to resolve every issue within that time.

100% availability is not guaranteed. Reasonable monitoring of the site is planned and important incidents will be communicated.

9. Term and monthly cancellation

The subscription is monthly and has no extended minimum commitment.

To have the cancellation take effect at the next monthly renewal, you must request it at least 15 days before that renewal. If you request it later, the cancellation applies from the following renewal. You can request it through the contact details of this website (hola@raizislas.com or +34 652 565 737), without disproportionate formalities.

No penalty applies for cancelling. Fees are charged for full monthly periods: the service continues until the period already paid ends, and you will be told in writing the effective date of cancellation.

This clause does not limit any rights you hold under the applicable law, including those of consumers.

10. Withdrawal, cancellations and refunds

If you cancel during development, the treatment of the cancellation and of any refund will be adjusted to the work actually done, the contract and the rights legally applicable. The first delivery is not declared automatically non-refundable, and no automatic loss of the advance payment is established.

11. Ownership and licences

• You keep the rights you hold over your original content, your own images, your logo, your domain and your data.
• RAÍZ ISLAS provides hosting, maintenance and support services while the subscription is in force.
• Materials created specifically by RAÍZ ISLAS for you may be used within the scope of the rights and licences available.

Third-party resources respect their licences. RAÍZ ISLAS does not assign rights it cannot assign. Its own templates, tools and components remain subject to their respective terms.

12. Domain name

• The domain belongs to the client and must be registered in their name or with verifiable ownership in their favour.
• RAÍZ ISLAS covers the cost of the first year of an available standard domain up to a maximum of €15.
• If the price is above €15, you will be told the difference and your approval is needed before purchase.
• Premium or special domains are outside this coverage unless specifically agreed.
• From the second year on, you bear the renewal cost, which will be communicated to you.
• The domain is not purchased during the free demo: it is arranged after the agreement is formalised.

13. Delivery of content and transfer

When the subscription ends, the available content is provided to you at no cost:

• An organised ZIP file with the available original texts and images.
• A product CSV file, where applicable and where exportable data exist.
• Control or management of your domain, at no additional charge.

Delivery takes place within 10 business days of the end of the subscription or of your request, whichever is later, provided the data are still available under the retention policy.

A full technical migration of the site to another provider is quoted and accepted separately.

14. Hosting and technical backup when the service ends

Hosting is provided while the subscription is in force.

A technical backup is kept for up to 30 days after the end of the service and then deleted, except for legal obligations or other justified exceptions. That backup does not imply free hosting or continuity of the published site.

15. Revisions during creation

Before the final site is published, the following review rounds are included:

• The Showcase: two rounds.
• The Story: two rounds.
• The Shop: three rounds.

A round is a set of related comments within the contracted scope. Revisions are limited to that scope, and new work outside it is quoted separately.

16. Additional services

Any service outside what was contracted will include a description, a prior quote, an estimated time and your express acceptance. No additional work is invoiced without your prior approval.

17. External services and additional costs

RAÍZ ISLAS does not charge commission on the client's sales. External payment providers, if used, may charge their own.

18. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.
